Meet Our Founder

An Easton native, Michael founded VTA in 2009 to bring to the Valley his unique brand of client service -- an unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to serving the best interests of the client, without regard to the degree of difficulty or extent of his investment of time in the client. He is taking VTA to a new level with the introduction of SmartLedger®, aimed at providing sorely needed, year-round back office accounting and tax services.

Michael's Bio

He is an accomplished and well-respected accounting and tax professional with over four decades of experience in compliance, research and planning within the multinational firm environment. An assertive, hands-on leader and teacher, Michael is adept at addressing large groups, both within and outside the accounting profession.
Having served the interests of thousands of clients over the course of his career, he is particularly focused on identifying issues before they evolve into problems and opportunities before they become stale.

Michael’s professional experiences include: forensic accounting for dispute resolution; consolidated tax filings for multinational entities; authoring guides for multinational companies, focusing on global tax minimization for executives; contributing to published guides on tax issues of marriage and divorce; researching estate tax provisions on behalf of high-net worth clients; and reconstructing massive records for multiyear tax examinations.

Through his sustained ability to research, investigate, and organize projects, large and small, oversee the VTA team, and then timely communicate with each client, Michael ensures that each project receives the utmost of care and each client’s needs are met.
